The Queen City Corvette Show will be held on Saturday, October 18, at Hendrick Motorsports in Charlotte, NC. Car show registration = $30/Corvette (pre-register by September 30), or day of show registration = $40/Corvette. You may also want to consider the Hendrick Heritage Center Tour ($30/person) and/or Hendrick Motorsports Race & Engine Shop Tour ($30/person). IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT A LONG WEEKEND & CARAVAN TO THE EVENT, we have been coordinating activities with some folks from North Carolina. On Thursday, October 16, we will meet at 8:00 AM (location to be determined) and leave at 8:30 AM. We will make a couple of stops along the route for restroom breaks and lunch, and arrive around 3:30 PM where we'll stay for three nights at Smoky Falls Lodge in Maggie Valley, NC (https://www.smokyfallslodge.net/). We are currently holding 10 rooms (the number of rooms can be adjusted, if needed), and the price for the weekend stay will be approximately $400.

After arriving on Thursday afternoon, we will meet up with the North Carolina folks for a short cruise and dinner. On Friday, we'll grab a small breakfast before heading out for a day cruise, including a stop for lunch at 11:00 AM at the Historic Tapoco Lodge in Robbinsville, NC (near the Tail of the Dragon).

On Saturday, we'll leave at 7:00 AM to drive over to Charlotte for the Corvette Show. Registration opens at 8:00 AM, judging begins at 10:00 AM, charity & trophy presentation at 2:00 PM. This is a rain-or-shine event. Following the show, we'll return to Smoky Falls Lodge where we can enjoy dinner on-site at their restaurant. On Sunday, everyone is free to return home on their own schedule.
